Meet Our Friends of The Mystery of History

Younger Students

You write the greatest history in the world.  You have to write some more. Sometime I want to meet you in person. We have learned so much with your history book.
- Lexi (age 6, Fort Collins, CO)
I love The Mystery of History. My favorite activity is eating Ezekiel’s scroll.
- Brooklyn (age 7)
It is our second year of home schooling. We should be on book two of your history series, but we loved history so much that we only did half of the book last year! Every day I am so excited! My second favorite subject is science but that doesn’t even come close to being better than The Mystery of History. I am reading the bible straight through, so I kind of know some of the facts about whatever we’re learning about, but some facts I get from your book! It’s awesome!
- Noah (age 8, Fort Collins, CO)
"Your The Mystery of History books are really big and thick, and I like that A LOT! I really like what you write in them. My favorite quiz is the Millionaire Multiple Choice game. I wish all of the quizzes were Millionaire Multiple Choice."
– Savanna (age 9)

Middle Students

My name is Sarah. I’m homeschooled and in the fifth grade. I did The Mystery of History Volume I and I enjoyed it. I wanted to do more every day. My favorite part was “What Did You Miss?” My favorite lesson was Jesus, The Mystery of History. Thank you for writing this book.
– Sarah (5th grade, Manchester, CT)

I am enjoying your Mystery of History very much. I am in Volume I, and I have just learned about the Phoenicians and about the Kingdom of Israel dividing (925 BC, I’ve memorized it!) I used to be scared of doing history, but now I like it. I find it very interesting.
– Anna (age 11, Broad Run, VA)

"I am 12 years old and in the 7th grade. Today my sister and I started The Mystery of History. It is very interesting. We also made a timeline. God bless!"
– Dawn (age 12)

My name is Katie and my mom and I read Volume 2 of The Mystery of History.  We loved it.  We can’t wait to read Volume 3. Thank you for all the time that you spend on The Mystery of History so kids like me can enjoy it.
– Katie (age 13, Ephrata, WA)

We have been studying our history book this year, and we enjoy it and I have learned a lot. When we studied Egypt, we baked a cake and wrapped my twin sister up like a mummy.  When we studied Babylon, we acted out Nebuchadnezzar with our Dad and Mom.
– Andre (age 14 Hanston, KS)

“I am in 8th grade and I love your history book. In the past I would dread doing history, but you make history exciting! Now history is my favorite subject.”
– Sarah (8th grade Austin, TX)

Older Students

"I wanted to thank you for your book, The Mystery of History. I just finished Quarter 1 of Volume I. That doesn’t seem very far, I know, but after many years of not being satisfied with the books I had, this is great! I love your straight-to-the-point yet down-to-earth method. I think it is amazing to see how if a nation doesn’t honor God, it will not stand! (Maybe it was the cause of the Egyptians’ fall in Lesson 24.) I enjoy your book immensely, and I am looking forward to the rest of the book."
– Melinda (age 15)

I am an older student. I LOVE your Volume I on The Mystery of History. I’m already done and now you know how much I love it.  On Lesson 103 I liked that movie [Jesus]. Thank you for this.  I would love to hear from my loving teacher!
– Cody (Great Falls, MT)

"I am doing your book The Mystery of History, Volume I, for part of my ancient history study this year. I just wanted to tell you that the best part of your book for me was learning about every single Old Testament prophet. It’s so great to know what all the books of prophecy are about and to whom they were written. My siblings and I also enjoyed studying ancient Egypt since we’re half Egyptian (my Dad’s Egyptian and my Mom’s American). My favorite culture is ancient Rome, though. Thanks for all your work, and I pray that God will bless your efforts!"
– Larissa (grade 11)
