Replacement/Exchange Policy
Should you need to Replace or Exchange a product purchased through The Mystery of History, please review our following policies and procedures.
- In the event that you receive a product damaged in shipping (ie. cracked CD case or Audio Book case), we will exchange the product for the original if returned within 45 days from purchase.
- Should you receive a product that is defective in nature we will exchange it if returned within 60 days of original purchase.
- If a defect is found on a CD from an audio book, we will exchange individual CD’s rather than the entire audio book.
- The Mystery of History can not assume responsibility for scratches on audio book CD’s that may occur from normal use. However, should you have a scratch that causes skipping, individual replacement CD’s can be purchased for $5 each. Contact MOHshipping@yahoo.com for details.
- Should you receive an electronic product that is not compatible to your computer’s operating system, we will give you credit for the amount of the product at The Mystery of History Online Store upon receipt of the product.
- To return an item, please use the same style of packaging in which it was received. If you received it from us in a padded envelope, please return it in the same. If you received the product in a sturdy box, please return it to us in the same. Please secure the product with packing peanuts, newspaper, or bubble wrap.
- Mainland U.S. Citizens:
A. Please ship returns using Media Mail through the United States Post Office. Upon receipt of the product, you will be refunded your shipping cost via PayPal (or other) based on Media Mail rates. Ship to:

B. Please do not include any personal correspondence with the return. This violates Media Mail policy. Rather, email your reason for the return (stating the day it was shipped and a phone number to contact you) to MOHshipping@yahoo.com. We will anticipate the return and respond in accordance with our stated policy.
- International orders: Customer assumes cost of shipping returned items. Ship to the address listed above. Please include a description of the problem with your return stating the date of original purchase and email address to contact you. Refunds will be made according to stated policy.
- To receive a full refund on any product, please see our Refund Policy. All CD’s, CD Roms, and/or DVD’s (Workshops, Reproducibles, Art Paks, Audio Books, or Timeline Figures) must be in original shrink wrap for a full refund. Otherwise, as per standard practice, these electronic products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
